COURSE DESCRIPTION

Diploma in Games Design awarded and provided by Kolej Teknologi MEA is designed to enable students to excel in Game design through a strong foundation in the basics of designing, creating and publishing interactive games.

Using industry-standard software and techniques throughout the course, students will be learning the right skills using the right tools and be able to create market-driven games and consider critical business elements in their games design and development projects.
This would give them a competitive edge over their peers.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course will give students a holistic approach to an enriching learning experience and assessments via coursework as well as paper examinations to become well-versed in the Game-focused industry through realistic project work, coursework and practical programming skills.

This diploma will equip students with the required game industry knowledge,
as well as some of the most current and highly sought after IT skills in computing platforms.

Graduates will be games design and development professionals who are able to create exciting, innovative market–driven games for the new-media economy.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Diploma in Graphic Design awarded and provided by Kolej Teknologi MEA is developed specifically to meet the needs of the graphic design industry.

The Diploma will equip students with the foundation knowledge and skills to apply their design abilities in a professional context.

The content of the course is built around industry-standard computer software (Adobe Creative Suites –Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design)

COURSE OBJECTIVES

As a students on the course,students will attend lectures, workshops and tutorials. Students will also work on projects and learn how to develop creative solutions
to industry relevant design and communication problems.

The diploma is designed to provide the students with the specialist and transferable skills needed to develop a comprehensive portfolio of their design work.

The students will receive feedback on their progress through assessments and tutorials which is vital in exploring and extends the conceptual thinking, creative potential and areas of interest.

The Diploma in Multimedia Animation by Kolej Teknologi MEA aims to provide students with the basic foundation and theories necessary to conceptualise, develop and
production of a wide range of animation styles and techniques. Through an environment of exploration, the Programme underlines the importance of systematic development and technical skills.

Students are introduced to a range of software applications suitable for the development and production of both 2D and 3D animation. In their Studio Practice students will work towards animated content within the boundaries of given briefs. Emphasis is given to the development of the student’s imagination.

The Programme also offers the opportunity in either 2D or 3D production which is defined by technical skill-sets and production methods as identified by industry practices.
